Who does Arquatus work with?+
International businesses operating in the Netherlands, owner-managed companies, Dutch BVs and holding structures, and growing SMEs. Smaller businesses are accepted where the fit is right, but they are not the focus of the practice.
Do you work with international businesses?+
Yes. A large part of the work is with foreign founders and companies that run a Dutch entity. Everything is handled in English, and Dutch correspondence, registrations and filings are managed on your behalf.
Can you take over from my current accountant?+
Yes. We collect and review the records, ledgers and filing history, and map the deadlines that fall during the transition before anything else. Handovers are routine when they are managed properly.
Can you support both my holding and operating company?+
Yes. We handle group structures as one picture — each entity kept current, intercompany balances reconciled, and annual accounts prepared for each company on one coordinated timetable.
Do you help companies establish themselves in the Netherlands?+
We coordinate the financial and administrative side of setting up: entity considerations, tax registrations, accounting infrastructure and ongoing compliance. We work alongside notaries and legal advisers where needed.
Do you provide management reporting?+
Yes. Monthly or quarterly reporting on profit, cash flow and balance sheet, closed on a predictable date, with a short walkthrough of what moved and what deserves attention.
Can you work with companies that already use accounting software?+
Yes. We work with the common Dutch cloud accounting platforms and can usually continue with the system you already have rather than moving you.
How does onboarding work?+
An introductory call, then a written scope and fee. Once agreed, we set up or take over the administration, confirm the deadline calendar and agree a reporting rhythm. Most engagements start within a few weeks.
How are your services priced?+
Most engagements are fixed monthly fees, scoped to the size and complexity of the company. Scope and price are agreed clearly upfront.
Is my information kept confidential?+
Always. All work is handled under strict confidentiality.
