Dutch BV accounting and tax

A BV brings a fixed set of obligations and a set of choices that only matter if someone raises them in time. We handle both.

The situation

For most BV directors the accounting itself is not the problem. The problem is not knowing whether anything needs attention — corporate tax position, the current account with the director, salary requirements, dividend timing, filing deadlines at the Chamber of Commerce.

A bookkeeper who only processes documents will not tell you. You find out at year end, when the options have narrowed.

Typical examples

  • A director who wants to know the likely corporate tax charge before the year closes.
  • A BV where the director's current account has grown without anyone flagging it.
  • A company that has missed Chamber of Commerce filing deadlines in the past.
